Sweet shot of the Jackmanii, Tam. Thumbs up

I did a bit of transplanting this morning, even though we've still had no rain. I'm really appreciating all of our shade trees right now...as I drive about the countryside, I see such amazing scenes of drought - for us??...in May?? So very strange, and a bit scary when contemplating what it may look like in August.

Nice profusion of roses, Rita! Hurray!

The hot (and very humid) weather these past two days has really caused my pole beans to grow like mad. It feels like July and August what with the heat and humidity but I guess beans like it. I am growing five types of beans. All in big pots. One type to each big pot. And then I decided to try melons again. I haven't grown melons in about 12 years but I used to grow them. They are best growing up a trellis.

Thanks ladies!
Janice, I have no idea what kniphofia that is, my Mom dug it up from her garden when it got too big for her and she gave it to me. It was one of the first things I planted as it came over in a plastic bag. I just popped it in next to a large boulder and designed around it. Hilarious! I am just tickled pink that it actually is blooming along with that blue achusa behind it as it makes a striking combo, I actually got something right the first go-around! Green Grin!
