How can anyone be grumpy, it is February and basaball will be starting soon.

I am a bit grumpy that the spacing key on this computer is getting a bit touchy.

Tired of drippy weather. My ankles and feet are starting to swell just a bit, especially late in the day. It's gotten so hard for me to get up in the morning...so sleepy and tired. If I let myself sleep, I won't get much done. Also I have a slight numbness to my right hand on occasion. I'll see my cardiologist next Tuesday. He's retiring soon...I wish him well! Nobody deserves it more than he does!

I fell last evening getting ready to clean up Ryker's dog s*** on the kitchen floor. Slipped on the stuff I apparently had sprayed between spots while reaching to move a vinegar bottle out of the way. Fell completely on my left knee cap. All my weight and to top it all off, my knee landed in s***. So far the knee is in operating condition even after I finished cleaning the poop schmear and mopping the kitchen and the rest of the wood floors (why not, right? ) It's not doing too bad really. Got a nice Robin's egg bump there. We'll see what happens in the morning when I put weight on it.

Didn't want a puppy....... but Ryker's lucky he's cute, I tell ya

Oh Dana, what an awful "spill" in more ways than one! Shame on you for not icing it before you did all that other mopping. I get doing the immediate clean up - oh yeah! At any rate, I hope it's okay.

Ladies. Honestly Ann, I think that staying on my feet was the best thing I could have done, if that makes sense. I did ice it when I was done with the cleanup, though. But I had no pain even while I was cleaning up. I was the only one home, and Ryker's gas and poop smell like chemical warfare! We've changed food and no difference.

Our DD#1 is home from Cleveland for today, and we've been running some errands. It's actually doing way better than I expected today and it gets a little achy when I sit down for a spell, and kind of gives me a little pain when going down steps but nothing that lasts and need ibuprofen for. Of course it is tender, but I'll take it, considering any other alternative and I'll just have to kneel on the other knee in church, for a spell.

for the knee Dana and for having DD home I'd say if you scoot forward on the pew at church so it LOOKS like you're kneeling you should be good. Just don't scoot so far you end up praying on your rear

I do that anyway, but with my knees on the kneeler. I call it lazy kneeling.

I did not wait for potato catalogs to come in and ordered most of them just now.

Potato varieties are way, way down ; only Maine Potato Lady really had any thing new.
I have talked to her on the phone and while she is not the cheapest she will ship just one pound if you so wish.
Two other big guys I had bought from often are a pathetic joke of same crap, same pile.

Just trying to find sellers on-line has become a huge bad joke, on Googlber, for every site on topic you get 37 worthless ones.
I used to grump about having to sort through site from Europe and Canada, which will sell as import hoops are one hundred feet high, now I really ,really miss those good old days from a whole five or six years ago.

After searching for over an hour I did find one new on-line non-whole sale site which I might buy from, I already ordered far more than I need, but just because I can.
Even the best know potato specialty sites now take pages to find, and that is if you know they are there.

Hell even some of the whole sale only sites I used to find , every year , do not come up now.

Sadly other search engines , so far, are no better for different reasons.

Grumpy because I'm tired of all the TV shows having background music that's so darned loud you can hardly hear the people talking. I have tinnitus and it's really annoying. Just seems to make it worse.

I know what you mean Ginny. They're getting really bad about that the past few years. I often wonder if the dialog is so cruddy they actually don't want you to hear it.
