Susan, I bought these from Kawamoto orchids on ebay.
They only ship via fed ex 2 day express so the shipping
charges are on the steep side, but for me, and at this time of
the year it's a small price to pay!

We're 4 hours from Nashville but I'll keep my eyes open to see if there is something big in Asheville or Knoxville.

Especially when you look at a photo of a flower and it looks huge- then you buy it and it turns out to be tiny! I've done that quite a bit!

"sticky beaking" is Austrailian for what? I could hazard a guess.

Thanks Bree, I thought it was something like that. Here in the States, if you were sticky beaking, your mother would tell you to MYOB.

My plants from Kawamoto Orchids (ebay) just arrived..a little bit of 'Aloha' on this ground hog day!
Thumb of 2011-02-02/sugarcane/0f6739
all of the plants were wrapped in newspaper and then in some insulated wrap and they had put in
a couple of heat packs as well. All of the plants did well, except this one, which I assume is damage from
the heat pack being right on top of it.

Great looking plant Lindsey, I bet you will have many of them blooming very quickly.

Check the spelling on the tag of Slc. George Hausermann 'Carl' HCC/AOS to see if there is a double (nn) at the end of Hausermann.

I would cut the just below the damaged area and treat with cinnamon.
