It is hard to imagine things getting better each year but they do and I almost get overwhelmed by the sheer beauty and imaginative talent that has gone into some of the new seedlings we see.

Nice seedlings Michele, good eye and edge on the Jelly Maker seedling. There are a lot of changes in daylilies every year, I think it's one of the few plants you can see the results in less than a year.
This bloomed for the first time yesterday, it put up two scapes that are almost identical, the other scape will bloom today. As you can see it had rained before I took the photos.

Thanks everyone the other scape bloomed yesterday so I gave it a number and flaged it so I can move it to the hybridizing area this fall. I have only flaged four dips so far.

I have posted this recently and have been watching it bloom for a long time, yesterday I noticed it was a bud builder so it will have a long bloom season

Oh Me or as the young uns would say OMG!!!! I really love Bama Sunshine x Happy Happy baby. He would love it in my garden Michele. Is there anyway I can beg, borrow, or buy that baby??????

I also like the last baby because of the narrow edge and etched eye but not like I do BS x HH baby. That made me gasp when I scrolled down to it. I'm a fool about that bright yellow with that color of orange. Please, should ya'll decide he's not quite good enough, put my name on that one

Those are all beautiful, Michele! I also love the BAMA SUNSHINE X HAPPY HAPPY babe the best, but I also love that eye pattern in the last one too. But I really really like them all!
