I am amazed too Ann. I have not seen this before either. Must have been the 100 plus
temps during the summer. Can't believe these even opened at all considering the
cool night temps we have had. May have to turn on the heat tonight.

GC was more peach colored last year. Don't know what the color is supposed to be
or if it goes through process changes. I almost missed seeing this bloom. There are a few plants with
rebloom scapes, but didn't expect them to make it. By the time I remembered to go
back outside to see both blooms open, it was too dark to take a photo so I plucked
both of them and put them in a vase.

And yes, it is nice to continue seeing blooms, even though I had already given up on
them. Surprise, surprise.

This may be an old thread, but guess what? I have been out of state for a few weeks, and I came home just in time to see this large bloom on Beautiful Edgings. There are more buds on this scape, and there are three buds on Miss Victoria and a new scape on Happy Returns. Here's the pic of Beautiful Edgings.

You should add your picture of 'Fantastic Fringe' to the data base, it is beautiful. Lovey dubby

Nice one Debra! This one is not really a late bloomer, but everything here is late this year.

Love Trance! But it is not at all late here in zone 4B! Does the whole DL season begin AND end earlier in warmer climates?

Caitlin - I know Trance is registered as a midseason bloomer, but for some reason it always blooms with my lates. My earliest daylilies began June 8 this year. Usually most of my daylilies have finished bloom by the second week in July. Many of them started later than usual this year, so I will probably have some continuing into August. That is a rarity here.
