I'm getting worried about my Baker Creek seed order. It's been a few weeks since I ordered and still haven't gotten them...I'm already late starting!! Our mail carrier has mis-delivered so many things lately. D'Oh!

Oh....not good! I delivered the mail on Saturdays for 5 years....tough job, physical, lots of names & addresses to learn....there was one house (small) that had 5 different names receiving mail.....I stopped one day with a certified letter, a child came to the door & I asked for the person listed....he looked at me strangely, then yelled to someone , "Is Grandpa's name Robert?" I couldn't believe he didn't know his grandpa's name, he was about 12.....

Call them, Joanna. I'm sure they will make good on them even if the PO lost them or misdirected them to another mailbox. Most companies will do that to keep their customers.

I checked their website this morning and they had a notice up that they are currently busy restocking due to the increased demand. Wish I had ordered sooner! D'Oh!

But, that doesn't mean they may not have already sent yours. You should still probably contact them with your order number and inquire.

I just replanted my Mangan and Anamika eggplant seeds that I ordered from Evergreen Seeds. They never came up and its been weeks now. Used the same cell trays and didn't see any seeds starting in there at all.

You guys are both ahead of me. I haven't even started my seeds. I started them last year on March 21 and they were ready to go outside before it was time, so I thinking I am going to wait until April 1 this year.

This is the area I have been working on the past couple of week to erect the 2nd (portable) greenhouse. I had to move all the plants that were there to other areas, rebuild the retaining wall, put two raised gardens in, and then fill with wood chips.

Here's my wood chip pile I scored minus about 12 wheel barrow loads that I put down in the previeos picture.

Had to get out of the house today, but the weather is nasty and there is no place to go, so I went down to the shed and planted 56 peat pots with pepper seeds, put them in the greenhouse on heat mats at 85 degrees, watered them and covered them with an old shower curtain liner to keep the heat and moisture in. The 2020 veggie season has officially started for me! Hurray!

16 Shishito
8 Carmen
8 Fushimi
8 Pepperocini
8 Ace bell
8 hybrid bell

My seeds finally came yesterday. I emailed Baker Creek a few days before but never heard back...they must be busy. Then I got a refund for almost a third of what I'd ordered because they were out of stock. Sad I'm thankful they had as much as they did though!
