My daughter was buying curtains and asked me to go along and I ended up with these I think they came from Boscovs and I was thrilled to get them. They really weren't expensive it was just that I needed 8 of them so the $$ added up.

OT alert...... Rolling on the floor laughing

Yes what angers me most is the way they are packaging items these days. I would rather they just raised the price. You use to get a pair of drapes now they are per panel. who needs one panel at a window.

Back on topic.....I love your coleus.

I think you may have a katydid or grasshopper around...they do that to some of my plants too...but if you see a shiny trail..then the snails or slugs did it.

Temps are slowly dipping, but we still get warm and comfy daytime highs.

My Coleus Freckles is enjoying it, as much as I have been trimming its buds, it is just dead set to making its blooms, so letting it be, enjoying the show, till it lasts. Got some cuttings already, so if it wants to go, so be it. Smiling

I just dug quite a few of my Coleus up yesterday. They put on a lovely display for me this year. We did take cuttings of them all before digging them. I would have left them in place longer but I had a few changes to make to the bed before winter. Move a few lily bulbs and plant a small shrub.

Waited a bit to long to get the Inky Fingers cuttings. They were toast before we got to them. Sad

Not alll coleus varieties do well as cuttings, add Sedona to that list too.

This is probably too late to help much this year but various caterpillars love to munch on Coleus leaves. The ones I see most often are plain bright green, hard to see to begin with, then made harder by the way they hide under the leaves, and on petioles. Their poo usually gives them away, look above it, around the chewed spots. I've found them on cuttings and plants brought inside many times.
The golden rule: Do to others only that which you would have done to you.
