I grew 'Wasabi" last year and really liked it. Was not successful in getting any cuttting to last over the winter.

Allison, your cuttings look wonderful I have mine outside and potted up for about a week now and they seem happy.

I potted up a big selection of different coleus I have collected recently.

Some are doing very well (Big Red) Others not so good. (I may have kept them to dry)

It should add color to my front entry.

I do find my coleus quite thirsty as well, especially here in our area plus with our low humidity. That's why my container is near my fountain, hoping it can get some humidity there somehow.

I think it's a little cooler here than the coleus really like, but mine are growing and starting to fill in the pots.

I've lost a few pansies to rot because of all the rain, but so far the coleus seem to be doing OK.

We finally had some cooler weather reprieve! Woohoo! Hurray! My coleus seems to have endured quite well after those couple of days nasty triple digits, as long as I really give them a good thorough watering twice. I was watching them closely though, that intense heat makes the leaves crimple, but as soon as the tree shade went over them, the leaves gradually open up again.
