Been waiting to see how the blooms of Echeveria Paul Bunyan looks like..as timid as it goes..I found one bud in bloom..and I think that is how far it will go.

My semp arachnoideum is starting to bloom. So it needs to feel near low 90's and above to show its blooms.



Will update further if it manages to open up some more.

It sure is cheerful looking. So I got three cones with multiple buds, a nice fade away show coming up.

Tarev, I went back and relooked at your photo, you are fine, tons of babies! Only the flowering one dies!! I have one that the chicks came out with flower buds, but the hen was not "coning" - until today But I did take a couple chicks off the plant and they don't seem to show any buds or coning, so I may have some of this plant left!

I like watching how the succulents do their open/close session..I wonder if they will all open at the same time when temps go much higher. I am dreading the weekend temps 106 to 107..I never get used to this.

Here is my Semp. 'Averil' which almost all the chicks and hen are blooming, however there are a few that aren't so I'm probably going to have this lovely one around for a little while longer

I just went out awhile ago to check on the bloom..so semps do not do close open on their blooms at sundown..learning something new

The color of the bloom from the semp arachnoideum has gone a very light shade of pink and the middle part further opened. Quite interesting, usually I see blooms turn deeper color, but this one got lighter.

Tarev, aren't the blooms cool! Semps go through so many changes, its why I like them (and because I live in a northern climate, so your other amazing rosette plants need to come inside for the winter!)
