Oh how beautiful!! Does it smell like heaven?

Lilacs don't do well in Western Kentucky -- lots of issues -- borers, mildew, etc. I have managed to keep mine alive for almost ten years. It doesn't grow very large, but it blooms faithfully for me! Outside of my Irises, it's the highlight of my Spring!

I like Silly Love Songs best, really cute. Lilacs are so fragrant, and pretty. Mine is just starting to decline for the year, but still makes the whole yard smell nice.

You all will laugh - but I kept sniffing the lilac blossoms even before they opened trying to get a "whiff"
