Terri, those are lovely photos of lovely Daffodils! They look like nice heirloom varieties. I divide mine when the foliage yellows, then split the bulbs and store them dry till fall. Sometimes I go ahead and replant them, as that's when I can see where others are and how to position them. Daffs don't seem to mind either way.

I've been digging some Daffs that need thinning, and seeing a comment on this thread just reminded me of a couple more clumps I need to dig. Also been ordering bulbs :-)
