doglover, I think I recognize some of those. #2 looks like it could be 'Spellbinder'. #4 could be 'Carlton'. #5 looks like it could be 'Mary Copeland'. #8 possibly 'Cassata', and #10 looks like 'Ice King'.

Terri, those are lovely photos of lovely Daffodils! They look like nice heirloom varieties. I divide mine when the foliage yellows, then split the bulbs and store them dry till fall. Sometimes I go ahead and replant them, as that's when I can see where others are and how to position them. Daffs don't seem to mind either way.

'Full Throttle' I'm loving this one!

Thank you Neil. Now I have an idea of where to start. I will try to compare some of your suggestions to my pictures. I agree with Cassata, my #8. I have Ice King in my yard in a couple different location and they do not seem to have the green on the outermost petals. My picture #4 has pale pale yellow outer petals. It was not a real good picture. I will see if they are still blooming and try to get a better picture tomorrow. I attached a picture of what I bought as Ice King. Does the green on the outer petal get larger when they get older? Will see what you think.

Some of my Ice King looked like that too, with the bit of green, but not all of them. Could have something to do with exposure. I noticed Carlton had paler petals than the cup in my garden, but there are a lot of yellow large cupped Daffodils out there, so that one may be tough to id.

Sorry for the delay, very busy. Here is a couple more that bloomed this year finally. Any ideas. I will watch my Ice King to see if it blooms the same next year. Thanks for all the help.

Thank you, it does look like it. Where can you look up a plant by a photo comparison without knowing its name? Is there a site where you can enter the picture (photo) and it will find a possible match?

Let's see a pic Anthony!

I've been digging some Daffs that need thinning, and seeing a comment on this thread just reminded me of a couple more clumps I need to dig. Also been ordering bulbs Smiling

I have ordered:

Geranium - 20

Thalia - 25

Sun Disc - 20

Full Throttle - 8
see Neil's photo above @gemini_sage there are no photos of Full Throttle in the db. Care to add yours?

I'm thinking about adding more Full Throttle
I need ones that will take full, full, full sun & need to order some more for naturalizing. I would like to order 100 (a wholesale order) from Van Englen but am having a lot of trouble deciding which to pick. My husband is certainly partial to yellow rather than white. Here are the ones I'm trying to decide between if any of you have any input to impart. Remember, I'm deep, deep south.
Hawera

Jonquilla Simplex

Quail

Derringer

Avalanche - this is recommended by Old House Gardens for the deep south

Then, I've ordered some Drumstick Allium, 20 of them
