Gorgeous, Kat! And who'd have thought you'd get to eat from something so beautiful!

Thanks, Debbie- that's perfect here! Trying to narrow down my list of what to order- I want some of everything!

I'm trying to consider the parts of the garden that were lacking color in spring, and just concentrate on picking up some things for them. Hmmm....think I'll start a "what are you ordering thread", its fun to bounce ideas off each other....and enable each other, LOL.

foliage is long, almost tubular leaves ; no smell noted, but then again I've not specifically sampled the flowers for fragrance, yet...Thumb of 2010-08-14/jmorth/11bcd3

Those are way cool! I recall seeing them offered in a catalog at some point, but only a close up photo was shown. They're much prettier seeing the whole plant. Where did you find those? Are they hardy?

I love Araceae
Where do Amaryllis belong here?

I have a bunch that just have leaves, only one bloomed for me early this summer.
They dont seem to want to die down either, they just keep growing, I put it in complete shade (under my bed) and it keeps growing! I put it in the fridge, it still keeps growing!
It is a determined little @#$%... Whistling
