Here's a pleasant surprise - Aztec lilies.
I had some bloom earlier in the basement before I even got them outside. As I was finishing up re-potting a multitude of bulbs in containers I noticed a couple pots of Aztecs and one of rain lilies untouched; being tired of re-potting, I just decided to water them and set them outside a couple of days ago, the result:

Wow your aztecs look great!! I put one in a pot but the bloom stalk was only like an inch or two and the flower was deformed.

I did try gloriosa in a combo pot and they are doing great. They are over 7ft tall!!

We have Matrix along our driveway and really like them, a nice color. Marie, nice gloriosa, I haven't gotten around to planting mine yet! aaugh.
JMoth, I just love those pink rainlilies too. I wish we were just a tiny bit warmer, we're zone 6 and I don't think they are hardy here, although some of my yellow ones came back for a few years. I'd have those pink ones everywhere!

Tiny Sensation is so bright and unusual! Is that from Buggycrazy?

Neal I just got Tiny Sensation from Hallson's end of the season sale. Don't know what Chris still has left, but I think it's one that he carries normally. Cannot wait to see mine next year 'cause I agree it looks amazing.

Hallson's is where my Tiny Sensation originated as well. Mine's in it's 2nd season.

That certainly is unusual! At first glance I thought it was one of those Tango lilies?? I think that's what they're called, anyhow.
