Love that Marque Moon.....My son dug out tons of DLs last evening......really needed to be divided.....here is my first glad opened......it's a smoky purple....camera didn't get the richness of color......
My DLs are blooming but I need to get out in the morning for pictures. I keep trying to get pictures late in the day and they are all partially melted looking
They are cute little birds.....I cut a large bouquet of Anastasia lilies & brought them to art class...I was going to paint them.....couldn't get my drawing correct, so I gave up! Just too hot to concentrate, even though there's air in the studio.....it was hot with 8 people crammed in the room....
I enjoy the time I get to spend with my photography. Living in the Northeast we know our blooming gardens will end soon enough.
Nature never ceases to amaze me. Whether it is the flowers and plants that appear in my garden or as I explore, or beautiful creatures that God brings to my camera lens, they all speak of their personal uniqueness.
Life is a journey of adventure and discovery, sail bravely into each new day.
Chuck, great photos.....looks like you captured an indigo bunting! Allison, you must spend a lot of time on your containers....they look really great for such a dry summer.....and Robert, really like the red lily....no beetle problems with it?
