I noticed this strange growth on my largest plumeria. Is it possibly an inflo or just more leafy growth? I've had it for 4 years and its never bloomed. I couldn't get a good angle on it because the leaves were in the way.

I have them in front of my crimson double hollyhocks ..nice bloom contrast...
You know, both the spring leaves and the immature seed capsules are edible, right? They can be used like okra .

That sounds like a beautiful color combo. I didn't know the immature seed capsules were edible, I may have to try a few Thumbs up

The new (very soft) ones can be prepared like okra, or tossed into stews. Seems like one of the mallow family members is called "bread and cheese ", but I don't recall which one.
But since this is a plumeria forum I suppose I'd better stop straying into the mallows, and mention that I've seen some stunning NOID plumeria that put named varieties to shame.
