I think the flower is going to open tomorrow, just in time for my birthday. Smiling The petals are starting to separate. I can see the inner part of the petal and I think its red like the outer part of the petals.

I agree with Hetty, I did it with my one of my first blooms as a newbie and the bud feel off and I had to wit additional 2 weeks for my next bloom Rolling on the floor laughing

Thanks Sandi! I think it finally opened, it has a slight sweet scent. The blooms look a little more purple than the pictures.
