Probably yes, but the linked plants list wouldn't change when you add or remove tags, and that could be very confusing for some people. You would have to reload that edit page to cause the list to update with the new tags you have placed.

Thumbs up

But I'll re-iterate that I don't have a problem adding them into the edit mode if we can figure out a way to make it not confusing for the members.

I find webapps images easier to deal with than uploading images of plants and explaining each one.The time it takes to tag a long view isnt half what it takes to give a id to single blooms in several forums.

Any plans for making the names of the plants show up on iPads or other devices?

I can't seem to make the Image Sets "work" on my iPad.

I view ATP on the iPad most of the time.

Does the ipad have a mouseover function?

With a desktop, you point the mouse cursor over the image until the boxes appear. Then put the cursor over the boxes to see what each one is.

With the ipad, there's no cursor is there? I can't even imagine how that can work???

So tapping must be the mouseover event in the ipod/ipad. Juli, does that work?

dave said:Well, those are good points, and that was a lot of my own thinking when I originally put them up top.

What to do? Move them back?

I vote for yes, move the links back up. Some of the shots are large and perhaps someone new coming in would not scroll down past the image to see that each tag has a database link to go check out.

Sigh. Sue makes a good point, but I kind of like having them below the photo, myself.

Ideally it would be great to be able to click each box to get to the database page of that specific plant. That's probably not possible - so I see both sides of the issue.

When we click on the image to enlarge and see a list of plants, new members might not know to keep scrolling. Same thing if we see the image first. We scroll down to the bottom of it and don't scroll any farther. So -

It's a conundrum either way you look at it.
