It was fun to see the chicks Linda! We ended up with 6 chicks out of the 7 eggs, last one hatched this morning. They've been doing a lot of sleeping today. Crossing Fingers! I can get a picture of them all tomorrow. As for the daff's, there must have been a few yellow buds that made it through the cold. They were opening today. Smiling

Gosh that azalea is bright!! Thumbs up

Ginny, saw the tornadoes on the news this morning. Some of them were so big and they didn't even look real. But the destruction is unbelievable and hearing the folks talk about their homes and towns, heartbreaking. I see there's more headed your way tonight, please stay safe!!!! Group hug

Another chilly morning, 25, this should be the last of them for the next week. Hope so, I brought the sdlgs outside this afternoon. Sunny all day and warmed up quickly. I got a few things done, spread some bark, made a list of what's left to move and where I'm going to put them. Then walked around checking for freeze damage on the rest of the plants. High today was 66. High clouds moving in now with a few showers possible overnight.

Mostly cloudy, warm. Actually going up to 71 today and only down to 56 tonight…a heat wave! The expected rains later this week also seem to be falling apart although it might rain Tuesday night…I hope so! I don't really want to be watering this early.

It appears that tornadoes swept across much of Oklahoma and thousands are without power. Hope Charley and wife are safe and did not sustain damage. Crossing Fingers! Group hug

A broad band of severe weather is now sweeping across much of the Midwest. Keeping the rest of you "safe" in my thoughts. Group hug

We have nearly a duplicate of Zoia's weather, 74 predicted high and warming up very quickly outside. Low tonight around 51. Rain possible on Tuesday; like Zoia, we would benefit from some showers.

Temps in the mid-80s today and up to 90 tomorrow. The body isn't acclimated to these temps yet after all our cool weather this past week.

No gardening today as we went cycling with the Baltimore Bike Club up in PA. The 45 miles route was called the PA Flatland ride. The name is a joke because the route is quite hilly. My legs feel every climb.

So glad to hear everyone is ok Ginny. Not sure if that was the town I just saw on the news Dave, the entire town is gone. Unbelievable damage from those tornadoes last night. I was looking at the radar and they show a line of what looks to be bad storms forming again for tonight. Stay safe everyone!

Sure wish I could grow amaryllis outdoors. Pretty.

Zoia, they are barnyard mutts. Smiling A cross between Wyatt, a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte rooster and 2 Speckled Sussex hens. They look like Speckled Sussex chicks but there is a bit of grey-blue to the fluff on a few of them. We'll see when they feather out. Here's the kids...

Hard to get images, they zip around and only stop moving for a few seconds.

Today was hot. High was 75! I'm not ready for 70's never mind 80's or 90's Jill. Hard to believe 3 mornings ago it was 20. Low this morning was 44. Got a lot done outside today, spread the rest of the bark and moved more plants. High hazy clouds mixed with sun most of the day with a few thunder showers this morning which included some graupel.

63/46 and mostly sunny today. The town is already a zoo with people coming before our Tulip Time festival this Thursday - Saturday. The term "you can't get there from here" is standard this time of year with a lot of streets blocked. I go for the eats Lovey dubby Rolling on the floor laughing and maybe catch a parade since we have grandchildren in it. Hopefully we get to meet out new great grandson from California this week Hurray! Hurray! Since our office is on the parade route they pay us to stay away and close the office Green Grin! I opened the windows briefly but it was only warm for a nanosecond. 67/50, clouding up after a sunny morning. I did get some gardening done, not as much as I hoped. I still poop out easily.
