Love those, Dave! I only have tropical hibiscus, but I now need some Rose of Sharon and hardy hibiscus. I'm tired of hauling the tropicals in and out and trimming them back to fit into the house or greenhouse.
They are blooming today (the earlier post was yesterday's photos). Photos are in the Database under Starry Starry night, and under Berry Awesome, plus one landscape photo. My internet is cranky today, so I'm not posting them twice.
We only have two nurseries here town not counting the big box stores. The largest nursery only carries Luna Assorted, old New Yellar (?), Plum Crazy, and Hardy Pink available. I've been looking on line to buy some others but it looks like the can't be ordered until October.
If you where ordering, which mail order business do you think is the best ?

I planted 2 Hardy Hibiscus from Hallson last week. They looked like nice healthy roots to me, and the shoots are already popping out of the ground. The lillies I got from their end of June sale were big, healthy, and are all up and growing as well!

DraDiana said:Clint, Thank you for your gorgeous photos (and for fuelling a "budding" hibiscus addiction ).
Omg. I'm so addicted to these. What's not to love? They come back every year. They are easy to propagate. The blooms are huge! Lol. I think I'm up to 24 varieties now.
Clint, I only started last year, and I'm up to 8. I'd have bought 3 more, but it seems all the suppliers ran out! So I bought 2 each of 11 varieties of Oriental/Asiatic lilies instead. Not quite the same...
