Aw, Natalie, it was just an idle question. But I couldn't pass up teasing you just a bit. But I may try one of those little augers anyway. Got LOTS of cordless drills to stick one into!

They're actually little guys. The brown girl (Sunshine) is technically a mini and the white guy (Candy) is considered a pony. But they're beautifully configured so it's hard to tell that they're little. Here's one that will give a bit of scale.
(I love this picture! )

Love that picture too! The dog is almost as big as the horse! I thought maybe it was a Welsh pony in the other picture, but looks a little smaller than that, now that there is some perspective.
My neighbor just got back from Spokane, and said there is a field with some mini's in it somewhere close to Spokane. She said she always has to pull over to see them. One is only about 2 feet tall! It's worth the drive up there just for that! Looks like I need to make a road trip soon!
The dog (Lula) was a rescue, and a very grateful one at that. We hadn't had her very long when that picture was taken. My husband was the one who went to pick her up and it was love at first sight.

Rain started up again so I am back inside again. I did get cucumbers and tomatoes picked. And I am working on my daylily re-location project. This morning moved two roses and dug out some others that have been struggling for years. Those just didn't look good. Tossed those. Then what I am doing is moving a section of daylily plants in order to make the area where I am taking them out of into a veggie area for next year. It used to be veggies, then I planted daylilies, now I am moving daylilies to make it veggies again!
Should have it finished by tomorrow and maybe even get the tulip bulbs planted there that will be going between the new daylily garden section rows.
@woofie, I hope you are safe! A severe weather warning has been on the TV every five minutes for at least an hour now, and it's in your area. Please let us know that you are okay!
Heh, I must have missed it. Although DH mentioned this morning that a nasty storm came through last night. Doesn't look like it dumped a whole lot of water, tho.
