What size do the lithops and lapidaria have to be before I can transplant to a bigger pot?

Can't tell you. Usually when the seedling gets it's first two true leaves. Also your mix has no nutrients in it and you will have to fertilize it with a very week solution which is not advisable for seedlings. So make it very week. In about two weeks should have something showing. Don't fertilize untill at least 4 weeks from now.

These guys prefer acidic soil right? Planning to sprinkle a top layer of soil with burnt rice husks, wanna keep it all organic.

Careful, you could do more damage than good. Most plants can endure neutral 7.0 I would wait till you get some to germinate before doing this.

Oops already done, sprinkled a VERY thin layer, most seeds still exposed. Very strong typhoon here last week, but the guy I bought these from had a large show-quality crested lactea in full rain. Lots of sans, dykia and other succulents too, full rain and sun in an empty lot.

Oh how very sad for him. Did he lose all or was he able to recover some.

All survived, says he never brings them in during rain. His crested lactea is 2-3ft tall!

Please get a picture of it for me. I would love to see how they develop over time. I saw one in Florida over 6 feet high and didn't capture it on film. It was scared and beat up but very large and overgrown in many places.
