Marilyn what a great idea!

Update on my buki seedlings - they are developing true leaves, how exciting! As you can see by the moss, these guys are tiny, and yet they have the coloration of an adult plant!

My two plants are starting to take off growing. I wonder if it is the cooler weather and moisture in the air since we have had some rain?

I gave one of mine to Springcolor, the other one died after blooming, even though it looked like it was going to stay around, I left it in full sun, I probably should have moved it into part sun. So I have one left that I got from Marilyn - and several of these babies!

Mine is doing great. Thank you again Greg. it is beautiful.

Julia you are welcome, that is from Marilyn - so thank her too!! Bev - yes they look healthy and like the weather isn't going to phase them too much (although we haven't had any low temps yet)

Marilyn thank you~ Greg, did I read some place that you bring this plant in for the winter?

I did last year, but in an open window (I like air flow so I left my window open and it sat on the windowsill) This year I'm leaving it outdoors, but on a shelf under plastic, so it isn't too wet!

I have a hoop house over my semp bed so maybe in there for the winter.

That sounds like the best idea yet. We have one too -- only I'd have to go water them. Shoot that idea. I can get at them from the basement when I put them in the window wells. OK. Well, it was a nice thought while it lasted, Greg!

I will try to remember to get a photo of mine tomorrow. They are doing well on the covered deck, where they won't get to much rain.

Mines in a hoop-house so nice and dry under there. Looking forward to your photo.

This thread is amazing... as a newbie, it's great to see such beauties. I am going to have to go out and get more semps! Then build a sunny room where I can put them all so I can stare at them. lol
