Patti sounds like a fun plan....the thrill of shopping around for semps, the smug feeling of possession and the wonderment of the way they look! Happy 2015 with that!

Okay, here you go. I got a new photo of my two little Bukis. Green Grin!
Did I say how much I love these little unusual beauties? I'm hoping to get lots of seed from them so I can keep them in my collection. I wonder if they will bloom this year?

I am trying very hard to figure out what will keep them happy. If I get seed from them, and the seed germinates, I will have more to experiment with on growing conditions.

They do look happy, Lynn! Sort of a Catch-22 with hoping they will bloom to give more but not wanting them to not bloom so as to keep the Happy Two! Shrug!

The best scenario would be to have one bloom and the other continue on for another years. Green Grin!

I read that they (like semps) typically bloom within 3 years of growing. My adult ones didn't make it through this winter, but I do have the baby ones, 4 of them (I should have transplanted more of the seedlings that I saw, but figured they'd be okay where they were (poor figuring on my part Thumbs down ) I think I have several more hiding in pots in my yard we'll see in the spring!
Lynn mine grew quite easily from seed, I didn't so anything except let nature do everything! It self pollinated, as I only had one blooming at the time.
Here is what they look like even after our cold weather and very wet heavy rains! Aren't the babies cute!! Hurray! Hurray!

Everything looks beautiful. I didn't have a chance to get downstairs and check my pots in the basement before I left (it was a whirlwind getting everything done so I could get away for a week) and I'm dreading what I may find when I get home... Worse comes to worst I'll have to start over again, and we shouldn't have a busy season like this again for awhile (if ever -- it was crazy with year-end stuff this year!).

Take care everyone and those of you who still have gardening weather -- enjoy! I'm glad I'm missing the storm that's hitting everyone in the Northeast. We had a bang-up thunder and lightning storm that was the start of it all -- but with temperatures in the 70's...

Stay warm! Love & prayers, MR

Enjoy your week of sunshine and warmth MR.

We are having some unseasonably warm weather right now. Things seem to be waking up and thinking about blooming, or coming out of dormancy. Sure hope I don't lose a bunch of plants when another winter storm come through.

Mine bloomed out and died but some sprang up from seed so Lynn you'll be able to collect the seed!
What great pics! Hurray!
