I have not planted seeds for a couple of years but I did order two different Yellow seeds from Mr Ko. I am not counting on them being yellow but who knows, also there are only 10 seeds of each one so maybe I will get lucky, I just never trust seeds, I did order a grafted Purple. One thing about adeniums they do not have bugs, and by next summer they should bloom.

Since I have a greenhouse now I have plenty of room to keep them going all year around. I might start buying the plants too.

Aphids, caterpillars, and (ARGHHH) spider mites aren't bugs? And cockroaches in the bottom of the pot eating roots.

Wilfred had one caudex collapse because a huge grub had gotten inside and eaten it to a shell.

Wowee.

Cora, I must have been looking the other way. Your seeds will produce pink flowers. There is NO seller of seeds honest except Mr. Ko.

But, i sure hope I am proven wrong!!

Doris, I have pale yellows from 'yellow' seeds, from Mr. Ko. I don't think there's a 'marigold' yellow yet.

Melissa that is pretty, and maybe it will turn darker on future blooms.
I won't count on yellow blooms but I will hope since I have ordered two different ones from Mr ko

Demands, demands. Buds don't look like much when they're 1/16 of an inch big! Here's something else... The pale one is something I bought, one of the first named 'yellows', maybe "I Have a Dream". The yellow one, on the right if you're color blind, is from a Ko seed, MINE to name! And it hasn't sunburnt pink, as some flowers do.

Actually, small suffers less in the tropical downpours these guys have to go through here. Sometimes the raindrops are as big as -- as-- well, really big. Poor blossoms!

Hi all I am still hanging in there and still in a terrible drought I can't believe it still so humid here with temps well over 100 everyday and not a drop of rain the lake is not even a puddle anymore. But my DR's are still surviving.
Thumb of 2011-08-10/rucky/1182d5 My lens kept fogging up

Thumb of 2011-08-10/rucky/b4becd I am getting some great caudex's also

Thumb of 2011-08-10/rucky/52a661 Doris you would not believe some of the plants that I got from you they are all doing well.

Thumb of 2011-08-10/rucky/0c1d55 And the little plant with the seed pod is hanging in there

Thumb of 2011-08-10/rucky/7b1ba3 I put a stocking over the seed pod I kinda got in trouble though because it was a new one from the package never used *Blush* oh well nothing is to good for my DR's. The leaves on all of my plants in the greenhouse are spotted from the calcium in the city water that I have to use to water them. I try to wipe them off but there are to many I have about 50 or more now. I will be happy to share some of the seeds when they open I never had much luck with them. I am not sure of the name on the plant but I know its one of my named ones. I still check in here from time to time .been kinda busy trying to keep everything in my yard alive. I am just afraid that they city will start rationing water then I will be in a bind. Oh well life goes on thank goodness. Hang in there....RON
