Thank you, JT.
SSSHHHH, we won't tell them you are going to eat them. You have to keep happy thoughts so they will keep growing. That is rule #1 Wilfred says to Think Positive happy thoughts for our plants...

Hi folks I have been lurking here hanging my head in shame because I have still not had any luck with my seeds from Wilfred. I ordered 100 seeds from "Reunion Island" .
I am trying 5 seeds at a time each differently. I will find something that works. (no I didn't get a nose ring and go to a mountain cave but I did beat my head on a wall). My three DR are doing really well with new leaves. My one Plumeria is also thriving as is my Brugs. Why I have so much trouble with seeds is beyond me but I will figure it out and I wiill make it work.......Ron

Yay Ron, keep at it. Too wet is a bad, as well as too chilly, and too deep isn't good either.

I'm having varying success. I used Spray-n-Grow a lot, then found out they hate the stuff. It's a liquid foliar spray made of micronutrients. Most plants absolutely love the stuff. Recovering nicely now.

I might try seeds again, I have quite a collection of DRs now. But the plants sell for huge prices here, hmm....

Good morning Ron, don't feel too bad about your seeds, I don't remember how many seeds I have planted I know over 100, and I have 11 that are growing. I did not get any from Wilfred, so I do not know about his I bought mine from a company on the Internet, but believe it or not my best survivors I bought on Ebay, from Thialand, I sent Jim some of those also and he is having great succsess, but like every plant the seeds they put out are not always viable, also some take a lot onler than otheres for some reason, so don't give up.

don't give up, Rucky. Sooner or later one will make it up. Wilfred say we have to have Good thoughts that let them know they will grow.

Ron, if you think about it, if they were real easy would you want to raise them? Heck, every body and they're brother would have a yard full of them. I've read posts where folks say they are easy and that they grow "fast". Heck, I've lost so many just because of a cold spell and not getting them in the house quickly enough. I'm trying very hard with a particular "dark Knight " that Doris sent me. I'm keeping this one in particular on my kitchen window sill and it seems to be thriving better then the others she sent. My problem is that I forget it's there and often forget to water it. I'm learning just what amount of water to give by watching that particular one. Too much they die, too little they die, too cold they die, in the full sun too fast they die? I've sure learned how to kill them if nothing else, but my survivors give me reason for great joy. Don't give up. Thumbs up

Now you all are scaring me. Charlotte how is Violet? Don't let her read this thread. What kind of soil is supposed to be used to start the seed? And how long does it usually take for them to germinate?
Rucky, could they just be hiding and not ready to come out?
Charlotte what is your success rate like, if good how do you start them?
I'm taking notes. : )
I would really like to try some from seed. I am not the best at starting seed, so need all the help I can get before I attempt it. Violet might want children some day. Rolling my eyes.

Violet is so pretty and green. I told her good morning. I believe she is going to get some new leaves soon. See how pretty and green she is?
Growing seed is not difficult just have to think positive things. I used seed starting mix. Barely cover the seeds. Wilfred has instructions over on other forum. But here is pic of your babies.
