Hope it does, too. The rain that was supposed to be here today seems to have ignored the forecasters because it is sunny.

Had enough drizzle to dampen the pavements and that's it. Disappointed.

Was cold enough here today for the heat to be coming on Grumbling but at least we didn't have yesterday's wind. Was able to clear out more with no fear of doing the "Mary Poppins". Rolling on the floor laughing

Yes, it is raining a lot now. I won't complain: spring and summer have been so dry. May be we are changing to a Mediterranean climate here on the Pacific? I suspect I will get some more reblooming out of this. Seven months of daylilies flowering this season so far. I have never got past May before. Onwards.

So far the snow has spared us. But, it's bloody cold tonight….13 degrees out there and the wind is howling. My furnace has not stop running since last September. Friday, the first hint of Spring arrives. According to weather forecast, the day starts with "ice pellets" (I kid you not, that's the words forecaster uses) temps rise to mid 40's, ice pellets change to rain. Sweet rain, wash all the snow away, puleeeeeeeeesssee!

Incidentally, I had to move shipping date for all my new 'babies' (plants) back by 2 weeks into the middle of May this year. Just too much snow this Winter. Flooding in the valleys below me is a real possibility this Spring, as all this snow melts.

Horrible situation in Washington State with mudslide. Very tragic. Crying Crying Crying

I'm in the Seattle area. About 15 miles as the crow flies from the Landslide. We had a mild winter with the exception of a week or two of winter weather. Mild and very WET. We went so long without rain most of the winter into January and February. Has rained all the time in March. We are .30 behind the wettest March of all time, since rainfall was recorded. All the Cherry trees are flowering or have flowered. Daffodils are in full bloom, everything is green and looking quite bushy after a bone meal feeding. I see some scapes on some of my daylilys Hurray!

Glad to hear that you are safe. Such a scary thing to have happened. I lived on Whidbey Island for a couple of years, and can't imagine no rain in January or February!

Looks like rain here today, if it gets warm enough to rain. Hopefully it won't be snow. Thumbs down

Send some of that rain this direction. Records have only been kept since 1897, not even a blink of an eye in cosmic scale, but this year so far is the driest on record. Sad

Hurray! Hurray! Hurray, snow passed us by also. We didn't get anything at all. Yesterday was very cold though. Still chilly today but supposed to get really warm toward the weekend. I hope this will be the last of the cold and snow for this season.
