AnnaSartin, Welcome! !
I imagine in Z:7 most things should be up by now. I still haven't done a complete survey of my garden for loss but, I did find my first garden scape on Endless Heart. Fingers crossed on that scape. Sticking tongue out I do not put any dayliliy in pots other than the few I have in the big pots by the garage. Anything of significant value goes into the ground. My single fan of "Priceless" is coming around. Even my perennials from Santa Rosa last fall is popping up. I did put cages around them to protect them from the digging tree rats. Grumbling
@AnnaSartin, we are sorry to hear about not only your plant loss last fall but the house as well. Hoping that things from here on out will be much better.

Well I see Happy Happy is being offered on LA. I lost mine this winter. I wonder if I should try it one more time. This would be the 3rd time I have bought it. Really the first time doesn't count though because I was sent the wrong plant. It is semi-evergreen so it should do ok here.

Cindy I'm surprised you've had so much trouble with it. I need to check but I may be able to get you a fan off of mine that has survived the winter here.

I don't know James why I lost it. I mulched it and it seemed to be growing fine. I also lost Bella Isabella and that one was a 4 fan clump.

Oh, I feel your pain. I can get a fan off if you want it. It hasn't really taken off yet so transplanting shouldn't set it back much at all.

Anna, who that grey kitty?

His name is Lacey. He adopted us back in 2011. He belonged to our elderly neighbors, who kept him for an "outdoor cat" because they were afraid of contracting germs. Confused I kept my window open during the day for my own cat to go in and out and Lacey started to come in as well to eat, sleep and take shelter from the weather. When we moved out of that neighborhood he basically lived with us at that point so I asked permission to take Lacey with us and the neighbors agreed. Hurray! He "helps " in the garden by chasing small animals, digging in the soil and trying (and not always succeeding) to not step on new plant shoots as they come up. Hilarious!

I lost all of my HAPPY HAPPY this year. It wasn't doing too great after being divided and then the cold got the rest of it

Well there is good and bad news on the daylily front. I think the little bits of CHOMP and VIVID BUTTERFLY are going to make it. RUFFLED PINK PERFECTION is continuing to fight so I'm pretty happy about that. DINNER TALK has 1 tiny little fan and a little nub showing so there is hope. DRAGONFLY DAWN seems to have put the third and final fan up. RED BULL is chugging right along.

I lost 4 of 5 fans of WATER DROPS, a fan of VAMPIRE BAT, all of my HOOKED X DR. STUMP seedlings ( Grumbling they would have bloomed this year!), SMALL WORLD FACE PAINT and possibly FOUR EYES. I've got my eye on a couple things going forward...

Yep, my WATER DROPS has a bunch of fans that look puny. BELLA NOTE completely disappeared. BLUE BEETLE looks puny. I lost RIP SAW, ONE EYE WILLIE and a couple of others that were new. Most of the others look just fine but a few of the more tender evergreens did suffer.

Hate to hear about Water Drops. It's one I've been kicking around adding. Sad Happy Happy made it here though. Planted a sf last year and have a pretty nice looking sf still. It went dormant though, totally brown foliage and the new shoot came up about a half inch from the old one. Larry's Obsession did the same thing.

It did really well until the winter, even added a fan. Bloomed like crazy. I think I still have a little pollen frozen so that's a plus.

HAPPY HAPPY also survived here. I have it planted in an area that has a lot of gravel mixed in so I think that is helping it.

Hey, I MIGHT have a single fan of Bullfrog Kisses alive! I have been checking it every day, and today I saw a spot of green!!!! Hurray! Hopefully it will continue to grow and thrive.

I will admit that some of my iris that had spots of green, are now dying. Hopefully I will get some type of inventory in both my daylily and iris beds completed this weekend.
