Thanks. I really am thankful my yard is just the size it is. It's just the amount I can care for. As I grow older, there may end up being more bushes and more raised beds. I was over at my Mother's yesterday and weeded her garden. She still enjoy it, but can't do as much at 87 as she'd like to.

Love all of your gardens. Returned to AR to find most of my hostas have wound up as deer food, and I am hoping I will see a few daylilies bloom before they wind up the same way... hydrangeas have been "pruned" too! I need to spend some time cleaning and weeding, however, besides the heat and humidity, it is chigger time here.

This pond is part of our "eco-garden", what grows here is up to higher powers. Rolling my eyes.
Our place is located in NE Pennsylvania and home to wild Orchids and lots of other beautiful wildflowers and interesting wildlife.
This is one of our most favorite spots to sit -

Absolutely beautiful, Ursula. It may be fun to compare your lake to mine. Here is a picture from the back yard looking at the bald cypress straight across the lake.
