There is music already? How did I miss that??? I have been humming my own tune. What IS the music you sing it to.... or should I ask?

And for no reason at all I am going to share a picture of my friend who followed me all over the yard today while I dug out the creek and mowed. AND he doesn't know phlox about the music either!

But he did like the daylily stalks.

Big blue guy is gorgeous. I have had little turquois one & large black & large chartreause/ I miss the reds. They were probably at music school trying out tunes.

I suppose this is as good a place to confess and any, I ordered 4 lilies yesterday, the oriental kind, some of the giant ones, and some of the 3 to 4 footers. Ordered from B & D lilies. I was listening to public radio on Friday to the garden talk show. They mentioned this vendor, so of course I had to go check it out. I am so shameless. Ok, now Rob, confess! Tell us what you ordered!

Hey, Rob, I know nothing about Iris auctions. At this time of year, I would think that nothing is blooming. How do you know what they look like? Does the facility/group/whatchacallit have photographs or video during the auction?
