Thanks Alex! As I mentioned, it was very pale compared with the photos in the database, but heck -- it's summer in Bakersfield!

I thought I lost Bullfrog Kisses after the long frigid winter and wet spring. In June I had one tiny little plant. Look what bloomed today! Sure, it should have bloomed in late June, and sure, the color is a bit off, but it bloomed (and has another bloom yet to see) This is an FFE - first flower ever

I like God's Gift to Warthogs, great fun name too. Rain the past two days and now it is warm again.....warm... compared to what it was! Have a few more images of the daylilies that are still blooming here, some are from the past week or so....

God's Gift To Warthogs took a good three years to settle in - but perhaps due to all the early rain, or perhaps it was just mature enough to give me a great show, but it has been wonderful this year. I am glad I gave it the time it needed, it was worth the wait

I agree Thank You!

These are from the day before yesterday.
Re-bloom on one of the NOID's. Look at the buds yet to open. I'm really surprised it's blooming this late in the year.

I didn't get photos today, but I had the following blooms:
Westbourne Valentines Day (each succeeding bloom gets prettier and prettier), Purple Maze again, Courage & Determination, Martin Blondeel, Holly Dancer, Hot Lava, Pumpkin Bandit, plus a few more. Wish I had taken photos early, now it's too windy to get good shots

Seedfork said:jon, I don't think the data base says 'Frans Hals' is not a re-bloomer, it just does not list it as a re-bloomer. As I understand it, the hybridizer lists the traits of the daylily in their own garden. So in Texas 'Frans Hals' could very well be a re-bloomer, this is where comments would come in very handy in the data base. Local information on plants would be very helpful. That is a beautiful daylily by the way!

I don't know if it is a rebloomer or just an everbloomer! Once it starts blooming here, Frans Hals just doesn't quit. It used to be my latest blooming, but since I have added some very lates I will have to check and see if it is still last.

Ann, how tall is that noid. If it's over 48"+ it could be "Blast From The Past". Does it have a maroon type streak on the backside?

Beautiful pictures, all. Wow, Mike BLAST FROM THE PAST is magnificent, let's hope that's what Ann's noid is. Jmho, here, I'd be inclined to move the grove (I know just what you mean) of Asters from around the King rather than move the King. They transplant easily and make another grove immediately nodding but it might set the King back a little bit to move him. Since he's still only one fan . . . you sure don't want to slow down his development. That's one stunning flower!

Jan and Cynthia Rolling my eyes. . Telling daylily lovers about your daylilies blooming and not showing us pictures is like telling kids you have cookies but not offering them one. Painful, almost. Angel

Big Grin Excellent, thanks. Btw, it's ok to post pictures in both places, too. How can you see a beautiful flower too often?
