I hate the idea of more snow!

It's not going to snow in my yard. I have decided that it is my yard and if I don't want snow in it then I don't have to have it.

Bad here also. Snow and more snow. And on the first day of Spring. Really? Feels like Mother Nature is really trying to insult us all.

I know it was gonna snow today. And it did start lightly already at noon. So while it wasn't so bad went out and walked with my dog for 2 miles or so. Spent an hour and a half put there and I was so ready to get back inside cause the snow get heavier.

Looks pretty out there today, but I hope it goes away soon and doesn't come back til next winter.

can't believe the Cherry Blossom Festival starts today in DC--and there's still snow on the ground in my yard!!

I just told Ric that the Cherry Blossom Festival start today and he wondered if they shoveled the sidewalks for it.

yeah, I can imagine the snowplows all over the National Mall, clearing the way for the kiosks and kite flying!

Seven Inches of snow .............I am like a wild woman. Not fit to talk to. Mean. Grumpy. The sun is in and out and it is melting thank goodness.

Ours has practically all melted again.

Lucky you I bet your kids enjoyed it. It was perfect for making snowmen.

Ours is just about all melted again, too. Unfortunately, tomorrow's supposed to be chillier.

Yes, melted here also. My crocus might bloom again tomorrow after having that snow dumped on them yesterday.

Yesterday I went with a group of my Garden Club friends to visit several GH's in the neighboring County. It was an all day affair 3 GH's, lunch, roadside market and wholesale craft barn. We came home with our cars loaded, I was very good and only picked up a few plants.
A coupe of Sempervivum, "Rocknoll Rosette" and "pilioseum". An Ice Plant "Fire Spinner" and Sedum "Cape Blanco." I also picked up something that I wasn't familiar with at all, leopard spotted hawkweed hieracium. The yellow flower doesn't look like much but the foliage is lovely. I also picked up two very nice Begonias.
