My garden is starting to come together and it's so satisfying! I don't feel I really have pictures to share yet that show what progress there is, beyond the ones I put in the chat and photos thread, but it's at a point where nothing feels totally neglected and all areas have been improved and have things going on....

I planted two more thyme groundcover plugs today, this is Thymus praecox (Pink Chintz) and for some reason this one garden center has had a lot of that so I keep picking up one or two when I'm there. I also planted out the sempervivums I got on sale. Hope they do okay! One cluster I overwatered pretty badly trying to wash off the coarse potting medium I'd spilled all over the rosettes. Sad But I think it will be okay. That little tubular one, and some of the variety it was with, I planted in a terra cotta pot, to let them get bigger before I put them in the ground. If I do.

Moved another coneflower. Put some little stakes around a few of the more vulnerable new daylilies (I used those Satay skewers from the grocery store -- got that idea from one of the posted Ideas here, forget whose it was.) Those skewers do come in handy!

The rose is doing okay I think.

My mind is full of visions of next year.

Rolling my eyes.

I cut and packed Christmas Cactus cuttings all afternoon, getting ready to ship tomorrow and had a very large order. I sell two cuttings of 3 segments each , many times more, and they are packed in separate containers in paper towel, put into plastic bag and then into another bubble bag to be sure they do not break, then sealed and packed to ship. It is alot of work but I enjoy it. Today I had lunch with my daughter and SIL (his birthday today too) and they went off to the casino to win some money for Christmas...., then dinner and home. I am dog sitting as always. We are going out next week ...we had his party last week along with another family member...so we are good to go.

Foof! I'm worn out!

This morning I cut back all the peonies (they all suffer from a mildew thing called botrytis and I read up on what to do) and then prepped a small area in front by the lamppost for my cousin to plant some pansies. Worked on the compost a little, then went shopping with my shopping buddy and that always tires me out! But I managed not to spend more than I had, which was hard! but I did it,and got what I needed to get, came home and learned the lawn guys will be here tomorrow so went outside and did a little tidying up in advance of their arrival.

Oh, and fed the cats.

Foof!

Time for tea and maybe something to eat.

Man, I sure didn't do much today. I got up and just knew I had no energy. Weeded some in the garden and sat around in the backyard thinking about stuff that needed to be weeded. Rolling on the floor laughing
