Did anyone else notice the sheer number of song titles that make up the sale iris? You could sing the available iris list!

I got:

Cowboy Caviar, Downtown Brown, Urban Cowgirl, and yes, Rust Never Sleeps. That knocks a few off my "really want list!".

They are all so tempting and gorgeous! I was tempted to go for rust never sleeps but in this area it looks like it should be named rose never sleeps. It is still gorgeous. I have been out and about so I am going to run over to cubits and see who wanted irises and what they got. lol Yes, Marilyn, I got Outspoken but I love to share irises and I have heard this one is prolific. smiles

Leslie, a lot of the offerings are Larry Lauer's and he uses song titles in many, many, many of his Iris.

Surprising more people are not shopping but they are selling out of some cultivars too.

Something came up in the budget and I doubt I will be getting the ones I wanted. Still rearranging to see, maybe this evening. If not...I am keeping careful track of who is ordering so I know who I can hit up for rhizomes in a couple of years.

Outspoken is a nice one! I was beaten to Nosferato and Tomcat, but am happy with what I did get. I totally overlooked Care To Dance. Duh!

Good idea, Debra! I am not only limited financially but by lack of space too. I could stretch the budget and order a few more but I will need to make another bed and it is getting late in the fall for me to start that with all the other stuff I have to do. I made a big bed last fall but it was full before summer was over. Now I am getting more creative about where to row up irises.... perhaps a path does not have to be that wide, perhaps a tree can go and make some more sun areas, perhaps a neighbor would not notice if I moved a fence some night....
