Ummm -- I think that's Urban Cowgirl, Greg. That's the one that led to my downfall. I saw that there was just one left. And I thought it was drop-dead gorgeous. And that one was waiting just for me. And of course, I certainly wasn't going to spend fifteen dollars in shipping and paypal fees to get One.Lousy.Iris!! Sigh. I have no clue where I am going to plant them. No clue at all.

Well Greg - you will be getting a box from me next summer, but I am sending a lone thank you rhizome for you to pop in the ground this year.

And yes, I probably would not have ordered from this sale if it weren't for all the $45/$50 Schreiner's iris I have desired being available for $5.00. I sure wish some of their new introduction SDB's had been in the sale. *sigh* Maybe next year.

Leslie, Schreiner's 2014 sale catalog did not have a SDB in it either. Out of all the irises at this PNW sale only six were SDB's. Well, at least there were some there. I hope there are a lot more next year... like I need more. lol

I noticed that too Bonnie. Last year as part of Schreiners sale you could pick 10 SDB's for a set price (10 Tiny Tots). Several of mine were the more expensive ones so I got a real deal on the ten I got then: Smart, Experiment, Ninja Turtles, Cat's Eye, Raindance Returns, Guise, Awake, Blueberry Tart, Tremors, and Shock. I notice they had a SDB bundle in their regular catalog this year, but you could only choose from ones on a list.

Yes I bought mostly MDB's at the tiny tots sale and was waiting for it this year. No luck.

They still have Downtown Brown and I Pink I Can. This is murdering me. I have closed my purchases. I am not looking any more. I am turning off the computer. I am going outside....

That is exactly what I did last night instead of ordering!

I had to close mine out last night too. I didn't trust myself today.

Oh! There's still so many beauties left, I still don't trust myself. Look away...look away....

I will not go back over there. Now if they swept the floor and found some dwarfs.......

I just sent payment, so hopefully that will keep me in control.

My name is Marilyn. I am an irisaholic. I am powerless to control the impulse to buy irises.

Ok, I can't hide it, it's out there for everybody to see...I have absolutely no self control!

I should have been smart and closed out my purchases yesterday morning...or last night. But... there were so many nice irises left...and they were at such good prices...and I really hadn't had my fill of 'iris purchasing' for the season...you get the picture!

So now I will be broke, and have a whole bunch more irises that need to be planted! But next spring (or possibly the following, depending on how dry the rhizomes are) I will get to enjoy all the new blooms and then in another year or so I can have fun doing trades! I guess it all works out. (See how well I rationalize? )

Shhhhh don't tell anyone but Patricia is posting the iris pictures on the order thread over at CUBITS. They are gorgeous! And soooo tempting! o.k. so I just had one little peek.

I can see the headlines now "Old woman knocks over local bank to fund her iris addiction" story at 10.

I had to look again and I could easily make another list.
