I won't even dare to start a list... but I know I will be looking for a bunch of little ones next year. My mental wish list grows long............ Did I say mental out loud?

Dee has several beauties that now live in my garden. I cant wait to see them bloom. I did not post my list of little ones that I want as I did not wan to overload and shut down this site. I want more than I have room for.... both in my garden and budget. I have made substantial lists for a lot of different vendors but when I go to order I will get a little crazy and tack on one or two more irises from each vendor. I am like a starving kid with their nose pressed against a bakery window. I am a normal person. .........except when it comes to irises.

Mary Ann, But if I see one that I say to myself "I have to have that one" and it's Dec. I better write it down, or in the spring I'll forget it and miss out on it. Then the next year I'd see it again, and wonder why I didn't order that one!

I forgot to add Tobacco Chew. Does anyone grow Chenille? Is it named for its beard?

I got both Tobacco Chew and Chenille this year. This was my year for beards

I got Chenille this year, as a bonus, but I kinda like beards too.

I got Chenille at the PNW sale this year.

I got Chenille at the PNW sale...but was so small and dry it's really struggling. Tobacco Chew is on my list for next year! I love those bushy beards. That's part of why I had to replace Game Plan this year!

Arlyn - do you have a list of all your Indians? That way I could know to alert you if I find a new indian that isn't on your list. (There are a lot of indian named iris I am finding out!).

Chenille bloomed for me this year. It's the second summer I've had it.

It does have a nice beard. oh, dear......
