Thanks guys, Bev no idea, but I can figure it out...4 by 1.5 feet of chicken wire, a semp in each space. Jackie, yes this is the same, I haven't added any semps, they are growing in now so you can see them. Some of the ones I used were small!! Very small (pea sized or smaller) and I wasn't even sure they'd live, a couple haven't and I've replaced them but I haven't added any! I'll take a photo tomorrow of one that I didn't think was going to make it, it had its crown smooshed somehow, or eaten away or something, anyway after a couple of months it has a whole new rosette growing!! I tip my hat to you.

Thanks Jackie! Yes I'm happy with it! Although there are some semps that I want! So as they send out chicks I guess I'll be "culling" even though they're NOIDs! (especially some of the larger ones at the bottom!) nodding

I just love it when my flapjacks, grown outdoors, finally recover from their winter growing conditions. As if nothing bothered them at all. Plus it has been a drier but cooler winter, so it did not suffer much.

Thanks Chris Big Grin This one is always a trooper! I find now that it is consistently warm I can freely water it, and it gets that glossy green color, unlike the matte finish it shows during winter, though the new growth starts very light green. And it has been very windy here so it gets dry quick enough.
