I'm not having any probs, and I use IE as well. I used to use FireFox, but when I changed computers, my computer guy said IE was better..... I could have argued with him, but chose not to. He may, after all, be hiring me Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

I had Firefox on the last laptop.
When we bought this one it had on IE. I changed it to Firefox but still keep IE around. Use it some times for searches and for Yahoo.mail mostly. I don't know I am weird.

it's slower than someother threads -- maybe we need a welcome to the Northern Forum thread and then a chit chat thread cause I think we have taken over this thread as our chit chat thread! Shrug! Shrug!

Oh Jamie - I hear ya on that one!! I have a few fella's from my past that were on a different train than I (I may have been in the caboose... and they in the engine)... I still have one that keeps in touch. We dated once, then he went off in a different direction, so I picked up my heart and went on.... little did I know he would be back 11 years later banging his head on the wall. He has never married and has one daughter who is now 10.... he still tells me ya never know what God has in store! Which is true... however, I am married with a family so they come first. But maybe if DH dies when he is 80 and I am 85, then ya never know!!! Blinking Rolling on the floor laughing

Funny how life is, isnt it? Shrug!

Yes, you can't script it without the rules. Good idea to break off a chat thread, how is that done though? Do we have to ask Dave? He just keeps putting chit-chat stuff in the sandbox. It would be good to keep the gardening stuff separate from the other stuff...but chit happens.

Can't we just start a new thread and put a link to it here?

Now maybe Christine has passed, but I wish the Northern thread had the problem she mentioned.
Because I have too much time on my hands the past two years, I can see and check to see how this forum has changed in the three years I have viewed it.
Interesting and sad all at once. Shrug!

Talking heads on TV are whining about the wet year and saying we are going to get more nasties, towns floating away due to the bs climate change paranoia.
I wonder , if they even know anything about or do they want a return to the dry years of the eighties and seventies when lakes set all time low water levels in the land of 10, 000 lakes and farmers were told by the government to shut off their irrigation pumps in lakes and rivers.

With the huge 100 acre fields up here now, as much as I hate it, maybe a year when those fields contain corn stalks the blue-grey color of death would shut up a few self appointed experts.
