Yes. It is a nice picture. I rarely can take a picture of the whole plant because I have a lot of distractions like hoses, pots, sprinkler heads etc. They never bother me except when I see them Sticking tongue out Sticking tongue out in a pic...

Could someone point me to the discussion on using Epsom salt for the clematis and roses? I have a couple that could use some help. This is my beloved Guernsey Cream from last year.

For each clematis or rose just dilute a tablespoon of Epsom Salt (not a "salt" as we think of salt) in a gallon of warm water and use it. Same for roses. If you wish you can sprinkle the ES on the soil and water it in for each plant.

Thanks, Arlene. How often do you do this and is it good for other plants besides the roses and clematis?

I've been following Arlene's recommendation now for several years, and I have to say it has made a huge difference in the growth of my plants. I get more basal breaks, with more new stems since I started doing this, and I'm thrilled with the difference in the health of my plants since I started using ES in my garden.

Karen - monthly would be fine until autumn, then stop for the year.

Good to hear, Annette. Initiating "more basal breaks" is the claim to fame for ES!

Debra - those sweet blooms always confuse me. Thankfully I did make labels.
