My seeds are still plump and not rotten. I may have to move the container to a warmer place.

I recall reading that they do require darkness to germinate. Not sure if that's accurate, but something to consider.

Did a little more looking online. Several sites definitely stated that they require darkness to germinate. And most sites also recommended temperatures from 55 to 65 deg. F, with 70 being the highest recommended.

The only thing I did not do is nick the seeds. I'll do that tonight.

I took some cuttings off the first one that sprouted (the darn thing is taking over my back porch!). Actually, what I did was try to salvage the pieces that broke off when I was trying to move some other plants that it was trying to strangle. Rolling my eyes. Be interesting to see if they'll root.

I decided to try to germinate all the seeds I got from Ronnie. So far, no sprouts, but also no seeds have rotted.

Patience, grasshopper, let the root come to you.

I don't think they keep well, so that's probably a good idea. Good luck!

Just one plant Joseph, and it's growing very slowly. I had two other seeds germinate but they never did anything after I put them in dirt. I just got tired of trying...too many other things I want to grow also...like morning glories Whistling

My first vine is still growing, but it is NOT happy. Most of the lower leaves have died off. Possibly not enough light? It's indoors on my back porch. The Morning Glories there aren't doing well, either, which is surprising because I've always had good luck in that spot.
The second one, planted in a pot outdoors, is looking ok so far. The third one is still small, and still in a 4 inch pot. I will probably plant it outside in the ground when the weather improves.
Here's the one in the pot:
