Don't blink! If you do, you will miss how "Grindelwald" will mushroom into a huge clump!! It does not look wonderful until you get close, then you see the blue lines and it tends to mesmerize!

PS Could that be Dukie blue!?!? Hmmmm......................

Well I am not going to let it be Carolina blue!! Hilarious! It really takes awhile for the buds to open, but the bloom is lovely. Hope the next couple to open miss the rain. It is in a spot where it can multiply....until it runs into the happy Muggles (who also are clumpers). Your Silent Wings opened today. It has very tall bloomstalks! And the bloom is larger than I expected. (These are good things!)

Yay Lucy! After all your snow, that must be nice to see!

Greg - Mine are early this year. The first bloom was on the 4th of April, last year the first bloom was April 24th! And except for the dwarfs, not really blooming as expected. I have IB's that are growing taller than the bearded, and Mid-Lates further along than Earlies. Your are probably on schedule!
And another of yours is opening today. Bolder Boulder should be fully open by this afternoon when I get home.

Lovely, Leslie -- every one of them!! Lovey dubby

I thought a chimera was an aberration of color -- not form. ????
