I like Quapaw

And this year I added a rhizome of Red Velvet which is lovely in photos. I like the reds that have a warm tone to them.

My favorite red is Company Red, a bonus from Schreiner's several years ago.

War Chief blooms almost the same color as Quapaw I just like the latters form better. I need to move War Chief to another part of the garden. And Rustler is a good one for a warm red color. It is a lot like the color on Copatonic here and I need to add it soon.

I like your Rogue, Mary Ann.

I agree, Rogue is an awesome iris, just enough different to be unique in color.

I think Dee has Samurai Warrior on her August sale list. Someone was looking for it.
I prefer the more burgundy colored "red" irises. My Fashion Diva is more burgundy than the picture on a previous page.

Oh Patrick, I could have sent you a clump of Indian Chief.. I keep moving it around the garden and have many clumps. I need to remove some to make room for more.

The Red Douglas bloomed for the first time for me this year. Love it!

'Masada' was a bonus one year from Bluebird Haven.

'Dynamite' is probably my favorite red so far...

Red is not my favorite color, but I seem to keep getting them as bonuses, so I'm learning!

Rogue is gorgeous, no hints of burgundy or maroon. Not to sure about the size of the one in the middle with all the long brown fringes on both ends.I know enough about iris to know they are not spoons. Are not tail and mane more of equine nomenclature ? Rolling my eyes.
