I grow a few. My definition of Red would cover irises in the database listed as "Wine" as well!

Sultan's Palace is both Red and a Historic

I also like:

War Chief
Red Zinger
Merlot
Grateful Red
Cardinal Rule


Had Rio Rojo but lost it due to rot before it bloomed.

Debnab55, I know I have seen it on ebay for sale. I am sure there other iris growers that have it. It is on my want list as well.
