It rained today. It rained all overnight and all day. Supposed to rain all night and all day tomorrow. Raining now just like it did all day.

I did try to take some pictures in the rain. Then I added sunny pictures of the same one from afew days ago. I just wanted to show the contrast.

CAKE PLATE (unregistered) in today's rain. Sorry no sunny picture. It actually stood up to the rain really well considering how everything else looks.

Moms Cinnamon Rolls looked sad in the rain.

It really got shredded. But there were so many blooms that I didn't shoot today that looked much worse.

I have had some blooms the past week but haven''t had time to post, soon I hope. some of the ffo looked pretty sad but later blooms improved despite the cool weather here.

Cool weather here, down to 52, and my two new Maryotts EV's are opening just wonderfully. Hope to have photos of Grateful Heart & Pandora's Treasure later.

I am guessing you had that rain we received earlier in the weekend. Do you have these (delightful) cool temps too Rita? ~Jan

It has been wonderful in the upper midwest lately hasnt it Jan??? Love the cool temps and rain showers!!!

Really cool here this morning, cloudy and 45 degrees.

Margaret, gosh it just seems so late in the year to me for first flowers. But zone 3. I have no idea of what it might be like to garden in zone 3.

The temps here have been fabulous. Low and no humity (like we usally get humitily). Great for getting lots of work in the garden. The rain here started the night before last, kept going all day and overnight last night. It has finially stopped now but Long Island the Northern New Jersey really got socked with the rains. I am lucky in that I live high up and don't get flooded.

Rita zone 3 gardening is difficult to deal with, takes sometime to figure out what to plant that will survive. This year has been the worst in ten years for me. I just hope I get to see a few more daylilies before we get frost.

It seems like there's either too much rain or not enough, happy your not flooding.

It is so soggy here after all the rain that I didn't even take pictures today. It is clearing so I should be able to get pictures this afternoon. I do have blooms to photograph so that is always good.
Meatime I am posting these pictures for today from recently which I had never posted.
