Ursula, what a lovely scene. Your blueberry bushes are huge, they look like the southern highbush type. The low growing green bushes under the trees in this photo are all blueberry bushes, hundreds of them. They grow wild all over the barrens.

Thank You! everyone for the good info. You are most likely right about the variety of orchids I mounted on the dead wood. My dens love the plumerias.

Great looking Group, Jim, Patty, Lindsey and Ellaine...and looks like you had a really great time!

Wow, that's a really nice floofy one, Lindsey. Amazing color.

I bought at least 4 of these gorgeous deep, purple-y red Dens as gift plants. So difficult to capture the color just right, but the right hand flower is close. Still it's a bit more dusky purple than the picture shows.

This is the little B. Jairak Kiss that I bought two of yesterday. Confirmed last night that it has a wonderful fragrance.

I am kicking myself for not bringing an additional $8.00 so I too could have one of those fragrant B. Jairak Kiss plants.

Truly, Lindsey it's not that far, and you could go back when the Orchid club goes! They had lots of them.

I'm just a fool for that elegant star shape on the Brassavola types. Me, I'm wishing I'd picked up one of those Jiminy Cricket crosses like Jim got, too.

Hmm, maybe we'll have to do an "instant replay" of our Apopka orchid raid, maybe in February? Last time we went in the spring, First Orchids also had a whole bunch of fabulous Phaius in bloom for under $10.

I agree it's absolutely gorgeous, Jim.

Reminds me of those new Vandas we got on Wednesday - V. coerulea is close to that color. Serene indeed.
