Hello Everyone!!!! I've been here about a month or so, & am still learning my way around. I go online thru my cell phone unless I make a trip to the library. Our computer was fried in a thunderstorm so we cancelled the internet & just never got back to where we were. I was never a subscriber of DG but I liked lurking around. It was still informative for a new beginner. I was mostly on GardenWeb & really enjoyed it while Spike was there. Started noticing changes & then when we lost internet I wasn't on very much. Now its part of Houzz & is extremely confusing. At least through a phone. So, I mostly was on Plantswap or Facebook groups until I found out about this place.

FYI I liked the dog biscuit recipe. I have cut chunks of sweet potato, put them in a food dehydrator for about 8 hours, & the dogs love them. You could also use your oven on a low setting. Make them crunchy or chewy. I also buy the large yogurt (32 oz or so) when I see it in the mark down section. Melt a cup (or more) creamy peanut butter in the microwave. Mix the yogurt & peanut butter. If you want, add some banana. I add tumeric because one of my dogs has pain from arthritis. Put alittle in each muffin cup or on parchment paper. Freeze to set. I keep these in the freezer. I would love any recipes for dog food!!! I'm so tired of changing brands & the recalls & scary stories.

Fun seeing so many new people showing up here, I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you! Smiling

We should have a crate of acorns sent over to DG as a reward for sending all the new people this way Hilarious!

Welcome! Kathy!

Thanks for the information on dehydrated sweet potatoes for the dogs! I've got a dehydrator, and haven't used it in years, so it will now get a workout! I never thought to use it for dog treats, so I'm glad you mentioned doing that. My dogs thank you!

OH MY Gosh, so much to read...LOL Thumbs up to everyone I read it all.
Welcome over.

Hope you feel better soon Katie.

You know, I love that Dave and Trish contribute, idea's and answers questions Right away in the thread and not some mail. I haven't d-mailed anything personal since I found out people were reading them, which I still don't get the reason behind that...And personally I lost some friends because of it.

I've enjoyed reading some of the threads and lol I did go to Cubits, I think I'm a member over there too.

Big smile, yesterday was my eldest Daughters birthday! Group hug So now I can hang out here, there and everywhere, lol Blinking Rolling on the floor laughing

edited to fix Trish's name, oops sorry to many names rolling in my head!
