Dense fog warning here this morning... didn't really seem foggy right where we are, but we could hear a fog horn, presumably from an ore boat out on Lake Michigan (we're close, but can't actually see the lake,) Much better than a blizzard warning, in my mind! nodding

Our temp this morning was about 34F, with something like 100% humidity...

I woke up to 2 inches of snow! It wasn't in our forecast. It's 29 degrees here in NM. My greenhouse heater usually cycles on and off keeping it at 60. Now it's on full blast all the time.

Chilly there, Karen. Is snow usual in November?

No, it mostly comes in January here. Fortunately we're on top of a hill, and the wind picked up an hour ago. It's blown most of it away. We never have to shovel the snow here because it's so windy. When we get a big snow, I have to get out right away to use my snowshoes!

Quite damp cold here this morning with the overnight rains that came by. Our daytime high will just be in the low to mid 50's, and succeeding overnight lows will be in the mid to high 30's. Cold season is at hand now, thankful no rain in sight the rest of the week, it will allow a good cool dry out time for my plants.

No snowshoes, snow shovels, or toboggans here. Usually the closest we come to white-stuff is frost.

Wow, you got snow, Karen? 29F Brrrr.

We're currently sitting at 82F. High today of 89F, so definitely no snow here. Enjoying this beautiful day. Not looking forward to that cold front moving in later in the week. Thumbs down We do need some rain, so I'm not going to complain too much. I'll just stick with the thumbs down.

It's all gone now, and 34. Still windy with 24mph winds. I went out to check the greenhouse. It's fine, but it's really an icy wind. Our old dog hated snow and cold, but our new one is loving it. He went right out this morning and romped around like a kid.

After days of comparatively warm but very humid weather it is now 47F with low humidity though it genuinely rained last night.
I went out a raked up three large bags of leaves though only three quarters full as the leaves were wet and very heavy.
I am guessing each bag as it was , was near sixty pounds and I struggle to carry them up the hill without my feet slipping and going down like a bowling pin..

It looks like moisture is coming but one can never tell here as the yards are kittywampus to the compass so you are never sure which direction you are looking.
Another warm day tomorrow and I am hoping moisture stays away as I would like to mow the hill one more time.

Did have flood warnings out in the district, and, it is still raining, but, I think letting up a tad ..
Heading into the city, it's a 20 minute ride in, but, OVER some creeks which could be a bit high ..

This weather is completely NUTS for this area .. temps in the mid 40s and ?rain?, in Northern Canada ??

Gotta luv Ma Nature Shrug!

75F this morning. Slept with the balcony door open last night. High today of 85F. I wish this weather would stick around a bit longer. Stinking winter. The high tomorrow is only 75F, and it's all downhill from there.

You have it pretty good, James! We had 28 overnight and it's 32 right now. It snowed again very lightly. The sun is out now, but the forecast is only for 41 with wind. I'm hoping it will be higher than that because I have work to do outside. We live on a hill with a wonderful view, but the native grasses are so high we have no view. Gotta get out the weedwacker!
