Waking up to 60F. It stormed all night and is supposed to continue to storm all day. Lost power at some point. I woke up to Matt opening the balcony door for some air. He checked the power company on his phone--lost power around 4, and there are only around 1200 people out, so it's pretty localised. High today of only 63F, because you know, winter Thumbs down

Everyone with snow, take pictures for me!

Gotta go. My phone is dying because I didn't plug it in last night, and I don't know when we'll be back up.

Was raining but I think it's done now. Around 37 currently.

Glad the rain is pretty much done because I need to drag shoes and gloves outside today and scotchguard them for the season.

Oh yeah, we got power back around 8:30 or so. It came back right before we left to go get breakfast since we didn't have power to cook. We went out anyway, since we were already ready. Whistling

It has continued to be rainy, cold, and gross, as projected. Currently 57F with a 22mph N wind.

54F here this morning with a 'feels like' of 47F. 15mph N wind and it's still raining. The rain should stop today finally. It's starting to feel like the Pacific Northwest around here.

Very foggy morning here, got thicker as daylight came about. Temps at 46F right now.
There are frost advisories next two days in Sacramento Valley, and for our side here forecast shows it is getting low to 35F, but no frost advisory here in San Joaquin yet, so that would be a bit better. Originally that forecast was 33F, glad it rose a bit. Our weekend forecast does show some rain.

86°f with humidity of 70% at noon. I'm off to run some errands because the Whirlpool guys did not show up. They need to change the seal on the refri, the one I hired a guy to do is ridiculous, my freezer is full of snow. So, I guess I too have snow Angel

Areas of fog before noon. Otherwise, cloudy. South wind 5 to 10 mph.

Better late than never, lol!

We had maybe 7'' of snow yesterday and a lot of it melted. Big plops fell out of the trees all afternoon. We got out and scooped slush off the driveway. Better to do that than drive in melted and re-frozen ruts till spring.

Rita, the snow is probably headed your way -- we had snow pretty much all day yesterday, although it only amounted to 2-3 inches and is very wet. Today the sun came out and our temp got up to 40, so I was hopeful it would all go away, but still have some on the ground. Tomorrow is supposed to be around 40F too, but maybe a little more snow/rain... not really complaining, since it IS December 5th, after all! Rolling my eyes.

All the snow everywhere. This arctic blast really kicked the winter door down.

It's 57F down here. Took Ace dog out and I had to put on a coat. It feels much colder with the wind blowing. Funny thing is that by 2am it's supposed to warm up to 61F. Supposed to be 75F and sunshine tomorrow. Can't wait for Sun warmth! I don't deal well with multiple days of cloud cover and rain.

Wow, that's quite a bit of snow Marilynne. I'm sure you have seen plenty more than that, but I didn't think you were supposed to get that much from this round.

56F and still a little breezy from the north this morning. Local forecasters are saying we should warm up to about 78F today. I will accept whatever warmth I can get before this next shot of cold comes. It's supposed to be worse than this one. They're saying lows in the 30s north of the city on Thursday. We're supposed to hit 47F here on the island. Brrrr winter is coming on Thursday.
