Hi Diann, I usually buy from whomever sells the one I am looking for. We also have a local nursery that has field grown Itohs. I prefer to buy from them, as the plants don't have to adjust to our climate. The one I got from Solaris in the Fall is just now coming up, while my established ones are blooming.

I really would like to buy Smith Family Jewel itoh. Can you please tell me where I can purchase this peony, LG? OMG, it has such a beautiful flower.

I got mine from Paradise Gardens in 2010, which Oakes Daylilies owns. You may want to contact them to see if they can get some for Fall sales. I just took this photo of a new bud with my iPhone.

I'm new to Itohs this year (2016). Here in southern NH things are a bit slow to start. Past few nights have been in the low 30's.
I purchased Bartzella and Cora Louise last weekend. Hopefully, I can get them in the ground this weekend. Big, beautiful plants from a local nursery.
Has anyone else been following the Peony industry in Alaska? - it's booming Alaska growers have found quite a niche in the cut flower industry.

My 2nd Yumi is full of buds, this will be the 1st time this plant is blooming.
