Wow, great show everyone!
I've been on vacation and can't believe there were so many pages of September blooms while I've been gone..
but how sad that you guys are moving your plants back in...depressing! I've still got repairs to do on the greenhouse
roof Angry but our night time temps are still in the 50's so I've got a little bit of time yet.

Ohh pretty, Kathy and Bree!
Yes, it is again warmer here too, but I have the majority of the Orchids now inside, except those which need the cooler temps. The Laelia anceps are in spike!
Next, I will start moving the C&S, by the time I get done it will be well into October.

Kathy, re. Gerberara, I leave it out all winter, but we don't get freezes, so I would say treat it like Kingianum.

Great posts during my absence. It's a joy to come home to all of this beauty.

There were a few new blooms waiting for me upon my return. This Apopka special is Ascda Sunsamran Spot X V. Doctor Anek.

Here is a little NOID Dendrobium that is mounted to one of those Pet Smart lizzard logs.

And another NOID Dendrobium but this one is huge. I love the color.

One of the ports we visited was Kotor, Montenegro. We took a bus trip up the side of a mountain (25 swichbacks) and found a small building where they smoked hams. They told us they only used beech wood to generate the smoke and there was a pile of chopped and split wood beside the place. That's where I found my favorite souvenir, a split piece of beech that I will use as an orchid mount. Check it out and it didn't cost me anything.

I'm not sure, Ursula, but something will come along. I think a nice Brassavola would look good on it, don't you?

Ha! I just changed it for a photo taken of me on the ship. Besides, I've been to the gym three times since we returned and I'm feeling less bloated. I need to lose these 5 extra pounds.
