You are great with those Brassavolas, Jim. Really like that Blc Hawallan Leopard 'Mai Ling'! It's hard to tell but are the flowers small on that vanda?

Great show, jim!
I haven't been posting because of puter problems, so I'll try to get these in before Macafee hides them
Ansellia africana (dark form) whole plant close up
Odcdm wildcat 'bloodshot' with some hand-me-down Phals
Miltonia spectablis I don't like the way the petals curl back
and a third color on Gerberara 'snow ballet' must be the cooler weather

Thank you both!
Kathy, your's will get there! That's one tough orchid! As you can see the leaves have a lot of red in them. I keep finding new spikes too.
Jim, at least your plants can adapt to the weather. We get a week of 70s followed by a week of 90s, then it goes back down (70 today). Predicting 90s for two days next week. The plants don't know what to do! Those weeks of 70s are overcast, then the sun fries things when it decides to come out. My plumerias have just started blooming, and they're starting to shed their leaves! Oh well, maybe next year will be better.
On a happier note, I'm going to go to the Fasination of Orchids show tomorrow.
Love that new color on the Gerberara, Carol...and the Odcdm wildcat 'bloodshot' is a beauty too! We finally got enough rain that I had to rig up
a tarp over the whole collection...I'm still waiting on the greenhouse roof to be repaired so all the plants are crammed together on a pallet. I'm
sure I'm going to have a fungus infection with the humidity and close quarters.

We haven't had but 1/4" of rain since last winter, but I'm putting a roof on my orchid shack ,preparing for the comming rainy season, so mine are scattered all over the place.
Warm and humid with change of showers here!
I brought about 50 of this year's Golden Gourami crop to my favorite Aquarium store, all sizes. I probably have to thin out the group some more as the many, many remaining babies grow.
Carol, you have a lot of really nice blooms, I love the Ansellia and the Gerberara is always very pretty, the extra pink is a nice touch.
I don't mind the flower parts curling a bit on the Miltonia, my Miltonia regnellii is never flat either. ( Picture to follow)
Here is my Miltonia regnellii, I should have split the plant in the Spring! The blooms have a scent of Dill pickles, sort of.
Encyclia brassavolae starts its blooming season, perhaps a couple of weeks late this year. The blooms are strongly scented in the evening, think carnations.
Here is a real cutie, Bl Tiny Kiss. It was ready to pop two earlier spikes, but they managed to probably open the first day we started our Iceland trip.
Encyclia cochleata is pretty much always blooming.
And there is the Blc Copper Queen after blooming several times this Summer. This is the freshly- opened color.
Well, we've had non stop rain here but there seems to be a break today although cloudy and thankfully warm. Maybe I can even fertilize! I ate a lot of sushi yesterday and after 3 years of looking longingly at my Italian organetto (accordion), I have it back from the shop with it's new reeds. I have switched from D/G to G/C (I call it a sex change) so I can play French and Italian trad music. I am ecstatic-solved my problem completely!! And I'm really bad to listen to but ecstatic anyway. SO...I'm dancing around between language reports, accordion songs, inservice materials for presenting on Monday, accordion songs, orchid care, accordion songs, fertilizing (hopefully) and photography today.
The music makes everything less drudgy! Here's an old pic.
